About Jasmin
Visual artist exploring femininity, emotion, resilience, identity, and the stories women carry.
Jasmin Genao is a South Florida visual artist whose work centers on women, emotion, identity, and resilience. Through expressive portraiture, she explores the inner experiences that often go unspoken, including memory, vulnerability, strength, intuition, and the ways women carry their stories through the body.
Working primarily in oil and acrylic, Jasmin creates portraits that feel both intimate and emotionally charged. Her work is shaped by a desire to make visible what can be difficult to explain in words.
Her artistic practice has grown from personal exploration into a body of work that has been exhibited at the Coral Springs Museum of Art and the Pompano Beach Cultural Center. She has also participated in live painting at the Power of the Mind International Women’s Empowerment Conference in Wynwood.

My Process
My process is intuitive and emotional. I’m often drawn to a feeling, expression, or story first, and the painting develops from there. I work with color, gesture, and portraiture to explore what sits beneath the surface.
